There are many walking and bicycling possibilities. We have lots of maps available to fill your days doing so!
Treasure Search (Geocaching) – A must!
If you cannot find the treasure at our house, you can always search for it in the surroundings. Treasures are well-hidden here. You can find them with the help of a GPS.
We love to motorcycle ourselves, so we already tested several routes for you. Most are available on our Garmin GPS or can be driven easily with a road book. You will surely enjoy it and none of the roads (beside the highway) is straight!
In Etang du Cheix, many species of fish can be found (pike, perch, trout, tench, carp and rock-bass). A fishing permit costs € 12,50 per day or € 33 per week,
The Sioule offers many possibilities for canoeing and swimming. Besides there are many lakes in the immediate surroundings where swimming is permitted.

Cities and Villages
Although Auvergne is particularly known for its beautiful nature, fun daytrips can be made by way of a change to several cities and villages in the area. Some examples: Clermont Ferrand (the capitol with a beautiful Cathedral), Vichy, Riom, La Bourboule & Le Mont Dore en Charroux (one of the most beautiful villages in France).
